The Project Management Institute (PMI) gives a consistent and efficient framework to increase project productivity in an ethical environment. The Project Manager’s role and mission is to complete its project on time, on budget and with quality.

The Project Management Office (PMO) provides the process for executing a project with essential elements such as project scope, scheduling, managing cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, procurement and the stakeholders in a complete project integration management plan.

In other words, the PMO sets the baseline, the standard of how projects are accomplished in the organization. Lean Construction is what links all the processes together. It delivers a collaborative culture where everyone participates on how to continuously improve the flow and reduce waste to create value to the customer.

It is important to note here that methods may need to be adapted as projects and companies are different. The best example is that milestone commitments should be set in the project schedule, but it should follow Last Planner System when it is time to execution and making those dates.
